Fouroclock - Inae Book

국내에서 가파르게 인기를 얻고 있는 인애 작가의 전시 도록 작업 프로젝트입니다. 인애 작가는 종교적 신앙을 갖고 수행하듯 하나 하나 그림을 그려 나가는 작가입니다. 작가가 세계에 던지려는 그 정성스러운 작품과 메세지를 도록에 소중하게 담아내었습니다. '사라지는 것이 기억하는 것이다' 라는 작가의 말처럼 작품과 도록 사이에 많은 여백을 두고 기억과 상실의 중간 어디쯤에서 인애 작가의 숭고함을 느낄 수 있도록 작업하였습니다. 금박으로 과장되게 꾸민 표지 디자인은 INAE의 작품 세계를 투영하며, 마치 인쇄가 잘못된 듯 의아한 책 제목의 디자인은 작품의 심오한 세계를 반영합니다. 도록은 포어클락에서 디자인과 제작까지 총괄하여 납품되었으며, 콜라스트 갤러리에서 판매되고 있습니다.

This is a project to create an exhibition catalog of INAE, a writer who is rapidly gaining popularity in Korea. INAE is an artist who draws pictures one by one as if practicing with religious faith. The catalog contains the artist's sincere works and messages that she wants to send to the world. As the artist says, "To disappear is to remember," I left a lot of space between the works and the catalog so that the audience can feel INAE's sublimity somewhere in between memory and loss. The cover design, which is exaggeratedly decorated with gold leaf, projects the world of INAE's works, and the design of the book title, which seems like a printing error, reflects the profound world of her works. These books are all made by FDG and being sold at Collast Gallery.
